Commission 2016: Mythic Japan
Another map I made for 'Imaginary Empire' earlier this spring. A fun commission, that also gave me a chance to practice a different style.
Haven't had as much time as I would like to map the past month, or spend time here at the guild. Hopefully however I will be able to start working on my world-map submission tomorrow!

Lovely work here Tainotim. The map style reminds me of something people would have seen at the time of the Boshin War (1867-1869) or the Satsuma Rebellion (1877). I really love the way you have brought out the character of the map with the viginettes and the old style illustration. (I realized just now that I forgot to say something here when I repped you for this. That's what I get for trying to cruise the internet when I am deathly sick. Sorry about that.)
