Default April / May Lite Challenge: Caravan Campsite

I saw a great picture on DA of a campsite. The main focus of the pic was the characters sitting around the campfire, but the wagons and trees in the background are what actually inspired me to start this campsite battlemap. I had just enough time this morning to get the basic terrain laid out, Will work on the campsite later when I can.

About 85% done, still need to work on some of the shadows and details.

this is looking good! May I ask what program you are using? It looks a lot like cc3+, but I don't recognize the symbols, or the bitmap fills.
Like a thief in the night
    she comes with no form
    yet tranquility proceeds
    the accursed storm...

Thanks. I use DundJinni, it works a lot like CC3, but has a lot more art. Unfortunately, we really need a DundJinni 2, but so far it is only a dream.

Well, you know what they say about statistics, 85% of them are made up!

It's looking very good Bogie. The only thing that doesn't really fit in is the road, imho. It's a bit too clean. Maybe some dirt on it and on its edges would do it?

Yup, it needs wheel ruts and dirt.

    Yes, statistics say it so!

Really love what your doing, it gives me a warm feeling, all of them in a circle in a warm camp...and.... wait... Is that a pole with sculls on it in the forest?? Warm feeling's gone! Warm feeling's gone!

My brother pointed out, where are the horses. I'm guessing you have still to add them (or were they taken by the mysterious evil in the forest )
