A great start with your WIP eleyana! Good luck with it, it sounds like a great feat to do. Note that, if it is that religious, it should show up in the city as well. Shrines, holy sites, churches etc.
This is the first time I draw a city map so it will be a learning process.
I have to draw the city of Veshakpradash: a huge sprawling city with hundreds of different competing religions.
I've never done city mapping so i'm going by instinct for now, any comment and advice is appreciated.
Current (WIP) state of the map:

Nice start, that pic is pretty horrific quality tho, I'd like to see it more clearly please!
That would be nice. Right now it's hard to see the details. And it's a pity, because you have a very good start, imo.By Eleyana
I'll try to get a better quality picture with some progress later.

Here is a better resolution image, some parts can be seen better due to the use of different pencils but hopefully everything will be fixed when i ink it.
I've added the mercenary district on the nort-west, the market square on the north overlooked on the east side by the 1st bank of veshakpradash.
On the south-western part is the bridge and a road flanked by steep rock walls and overlooked by a watchtower and a small fort.
I've drawn the city inside the walls but now i have a problem: I want to label significant districts, temples and buildings but there is no space to put the numbers next to them (unless i erase a bit of the building or make the numbers very small).
Does anyone have any suggestions?
