    Post Hello fellow Mapmakers!

    Hello everyone!

As a fantasy reader and (unpublished) writer, I've always been amazed at how much more life maps can bring to stories. Recently, I've started trying to make my own, which, through internet searches, has led me here.

So, while I might not have much experience, I hope to learn, and be able to create better maps in the future. Thanks!

Welcome to the Guild Young Bard!

There are quite a few writers around here, so you're in good company.

Don't be afraid to post a map, you'll get quite a bit of feedback.

I offer map commissions for RPG's, world-building, and books

Yes indeed... Welcome! As Josiah has already stated, you are in good company here. Also, if you find yourself in need of maps that are above your current skill level and have time restraints, ask for a map with a rough sketch in the post and I am sure there will be plenty of assistance that route as well.

Thanks! I'm currently trying to work my way through this tutorial, as a part technical exercise/practice, part to make a map for a story I'm writing currently. I might post it up when I'm done.
