    I'm adding more terrain features, and I would really appreciate some opinions please...

    This area is going to be a crystal field, with some type of crystal texture overlay (haven't decided what to use for that yet...) to give the impression of a large field of small crystals covering the ground, with a few larger, scattered formations (the clusters seen here).

    I really like the look of the blue crystals and how they blend with the terrain colour, but I'm a bit worried about how they don't really match well with the style and colour of the mountains. My question is, do you think it matters? Should I leave them blue? Or should I change them to blue-black with no dropshadow? (I've included a single example of this in the image).

    * Changed the colour of the rivers
    * Made the mountains a little bit darker and applied a very tiny Gaussian Blur to soften the hard lines
    * Added a crystal field

    I like the color palette and the mystic polygons, and I love the dragons and illustrations. Great map so far.
    The only thing I really don't like is the obviously computer-generated coastline (not the land shapes, the constant irregularity of the line).

    Thanks Ilanthar.

    Yeah, it seems the coastlines are not to everyone's taste.

    * Removed two of the craters (on the larger continent)
    * Removed the rivers
    * Added two more crystal fields
    * Added some ice webbing textures
    * Added a terrain/feature legend

    I'm going to call this done.
