I've been away for a few days, so wasn't able to comment in the individual threads before they were locked, but well done to everyone. Some really nice entries this month.
June/July 2016 Lite Mapping Challenge: Map a Partially Destroyed Village
We did not get as many entries as we did last time, but we did get 4 Phenomenal Maps! And I think this is the first time everyone who entered completed the map.
Check out the Thumbnails of all these entries, but don't forget to click on each one so you can see them at full size.
Be Sure to Check The Full Size Maps, don't just look at the thumbnails.
We have 4 entries and you can vote for as many or as few as you like.
The voting will last for 3 days and the winner will receive a shiny silver compass.
Regardless of who you vote for, please don't forget to REP everyone you feel deserves it.

Félicitations Snodsy ! A great map !
Congratulations snodsy! Great job on a great map.
Thanks for the votes everyone, really appreciate the support and kind words. This was a really fun map for me to do, I got inspiration from the Silk Road Map I did, from the city of Turfan, whose homes are built into the mountain, and while working on this map I discovered Ait-Ben-Haddou, a Fortified Town on the Edge of the Sahara Desert which helped me visualize the buildings. I'm sure I'll be doing more Silk Road inspired drawings in the future. Thanks again to this awesome guild where I've improved by seeing other works and the great critiques offered on mine.
Congrats snodsy, well deserved
