This is me!
Good morning everyone.
I finally post my first message on this forum after three years of existence without any activity :S The reason is simple : I don't know how to make maps (my poor amateur drawings of old times are only on paper) though I would love to know! Especially on computer. It's a pity I never had any form of talent for drawing and mapping.
Anyway, I think the site and community are worth the presentation. I can talk after all ^^

Hi Ranjjah, welcome to the Guild and I'm glad you finally introduced yourself after three years!
Take a look in the tutorials section of the forum, and find the tutorial aimed at the 'artistically challenged'. You might surprise yourself. Most of all, have fun and promise me it won't be another three years before you post again!

Yes, I had to do it after so long! Especially since I was visiting the site from time to time as a guest to entertain myself with fictional maps.
I will look at this section, and try mapping if I find the time and motivation. It would be great for sure.
I promise. It will be easier now that I have introduced myself. By the way, shoud I tell my name, age and location for more infos about me?
It's entirely up to you how much personal info you share. Just whatever you feel comfortable with. You could also put these details in your profile, if you haven't already.
Looking forward to seeing some maps from you. Feel free to start a work-in-progress thread in one of the map-making folders.

Alright.
I know the amount of work and time needed to do a little beginner map. I checked some of the tutorials around and downloaded files to learn, but I'm not at the point of making entire maps yet. Especially on computer.
