    Map Color and detail... ?

    Hello all,
    Trying a new technique here, with using colored pens verses paint...
    I think it came out a bit "childish", what do y'all think?

    Ps. This is a completely hand drawn map, and I plan to scan it in, add some filter or two, plus typography (for the legend)...

    Most of my designs are simplistic, as I seem to gravitate toward that kind of stuff... Yet it probably is that I am also intimidated by the very detailed and realistic!
