July / Aug 2016 Lite Challenge: Grim Bobs Reiving Grounds

Played with the background paper texture, wanted to get it dirtier and more worn. Redid the alteration text, might still try it with the dip pens if I have time.

I've also tried a version without the colouring; I really like it but can't decide which is better.

Ermygerd! It looks really great.

I have no idea between colour and not, but I personally would go with the no colour because it is darker, and changes the atmosphere from something light and pleasant, to something entirely gothic, gritty, and scary.

Wow, this came out really nice! I will agree with Falconius, i think the darker, sepia-ish looking map

Hmm. I'm gonna have to go with the color one personally. I agree that the neutral one is a bit darker but I feel it just loses a bit of the richness. But they are both super cool. That's my two cents!

Think I'm finished! I'm going without the colour, I had a hard time choosing as it's not what I had in mind when I started the map, but I do prefer it. (Still got a couple of days to change my mind )

There's a few things I think could still do with some work, but I'm happy where it is and I'd like to start on something else now (the next challenge!)
