    Thanks for your comments !
I'll try to make the coastline thicker..

And I draw those trees individually by hand for maybe half of them, or a little less... Then I used copy/paste, but then I draw more trees to avoid a pattern.

You could always reflect the ones you have already drawn and double the size of your collection. Its only noticeable if you paste the reflected version right next to the original, but I do it all the time with lots of different things - trees, buildings... boats

Nice work, Jo. Keep it going

I hope you're going to do a Finished Map thread as well, because I've just repped you for your outstanding trees, and I don't think we are allowed to rep the same thread twice.

    Thanks a lot !!!
Just before reading you, I tried to rep you on Merelan... but I'm short of rep ! I'll come back later !

I don't know about a new thread, I'm not there yet... I'm really waiting for my hollydays to move forward... One half day a week is really not enough to draw map !

I think there's a general tendency to do a Finished Maps thread right at the end, so there are two threads to each map - the WIP thread (which is what you have here) and the Finished Map thread once you're all done and happy with the result.

You have already repped me on Ethran: Merelan City, so you won't be able to do it again anyway. Please don't worry. With me its very much the thought that counts, and I much appreciate it, thank you

As for the time? It just flies doesn't it. I'm also looking forward to your holiday - to see your work progress

I'm back... with more time to map !!! yey !!!

So, I've more or less finished with those trees (a couple of wood still to plant)
I've finished two cities, and added some mountains, cliffs and hills.
I've planned to add some rivers (in the southern forest), a swamp and a forest of dead wood on the far east of the map
I've a dozen cities/villages to draw and the roads
And I'll probably make a complete other map border...

But for now, here's where I am :

Billions and billions of trees, Jo. You must be sick of them by now!

Its all looking really good, though. I like the new dead forest

Oh man - nice work JO... i know that that amount of tree work must have been agonizing
It paid off though. It looks great. It adds a lot.
Love the little puffs of smoke coming up from that city
