Thread: Map Border clarification

    Default Map Border clarification

I'm trying to either reverse-design or locate a vector source for the design below. I have the full source in a PDF but the person who scanned it wasn't terribly worried about clear details. My main concern is the section just next to the sidewall. It's hard to tell what form that's taking.

Anyone have any suggestions how to clear up the image further... besides stacking them and looking for pixels that don't fit.

I have a tutorial called Technical side of bitmaps. In there is a method of scaling up black and white images whilst keeping the resolution - it might be linked from the icons on my profile to the left... anyway once you have done that then use inkscape to trace the outline.

Its a good point you make about stacking them too. If you scale up the image using my technique then you can much easier clip out the repeating bit and stack them and then blend together and choose a white/black threshold point for what you think is the best match to the pattern.

Damn the upgrade seems to have broken them ! Heres the link:

    See post #13 in it.
