Hello, around the online parts i go by many names so call me what you will. Quite honestly, I've never really been interested in mapping although recently it's started to grow more and more interesting to me. I am a complete newbie with no skills as an artist whatsoever. Never before have I taken any kind of class or been taught anything about art. Despite this i somehow manage to know good art when i see it and here, i believe, is where there is some of the best. As a result I've come seeking help, in any way, shape, or form to give me the skills to become as skillful with art as people say i am with words.

If you are looking for tutorials there is a very comprehensive collection in the tutorials subsection of the forum. What kind of software are you using?

Thanks Mouse. Currently i have access and experience using Photoshop, as well as experience with many other photo editing software, I've been lurking in the tutorials section and around the site for a few weeks now and have learned a lot, putting it all into practice however has been... difficult to say the least.

Ah well - we've all been through some kind of difficult process to get to be able to draw maps, so you are not alone. The question is - would it be any fun drawing a map if it wasn't at least in some way a Challenge?
