Map The Seven Worlds of Egishirgal

Here's a new version of my old map of the 7 world of Egishirgal, made mainly with Krita and my tablet.

And since I posted along the same WIP my mythical beasts, for the same setting (I will use them for each country map of Agartha), here they are!

    Hope you'll enjoy it!

Very fun stuff, Ilanthar! I like the playfulness of it. And artwise, it is very nice, especially the beasts. I also like the maps from their conceptual side (they're a bit small to really enjoy them as maps in a geographical sense). Another project that shows how versatile your skills are! If i can, i'll Rep. you.

Great job on this. As said, the worldbuilding stuff is really fun. So many ideas very similar to mine that i think they are some psychanalitical or cultural background showing here. Hope to see more maps from this world and perhaps some other Stuff. Pourquoi pas une bd avec ces qualités de dessinateur ?

It took me a little while to identify all seven worlds, but now I think it's the right way to depict them. I especially love the way the water is falling from the edge of Agartha and Hyérune. It somehow reminds me of those hairy feelers some insects have. How do those two worlds prevent from drying out whilst their water is flowing over the edges?

Sure , it's more a depiction of the seven worlds than a real mapping of them... that may eventually come, in a new version, with time.

We may have the same influences (same books, films, etc.?).

Thanks GLS! I often do WIPs as I enjoy the support and advices... and I enjoy a lot to see WIP of other cartographers as well, it's often very inspiring.

Thanks Eld. About the waters, I'm quite satisfied of it. And to answer your question, well... magic ?

Such an appealing depiction of this fantstic conceptual background Ilanthar. The descriptions of the worlds are wonderful (i had to look at the dictionnaire from time to time) and i love the "analogical/ magical/esoteric" atmosphere you created. Just found the older maps of these planes (Agartha, Hyérune and Valdemyr, not sure if you made one of Enumael too back then) and it's nice how you applied the smaller isometric versions of them here. Btw. are you planning to rework these maps of the planes too? ^^ Sorry, it's a bit hard to keep track of all the different settings you're working on parallel, but it's really fascinating to dive into them... Keep up your awesomely inspiring work!
