Superb linework! Such an awesome idea too.
Really beautiful linework and setting, look forward to seeing it all.
Well, nice to see you entering a challenge here Dyson. I've followed your map creations over at your blog off and on for a couple of years now and I'm glad to see you sharing your work with the Guild. This is a very fine illustration so far btw. I look forward to seeing the completed project. As to perspective, as you say, the issue may just be lens distortion. However the cylindrical form of the pit seems to me to be wider than that of say the turret of the building just south of it.
Cheers,

This is a crappy photo, but it shows all the elements that I've mapped so far. When finished I'll reduce the size of the structure maps and figure out how to lay the whole thing out to look good.
Hopefully.
Still missing the upper level of the tower on the main island, and the tower on the church island. After that I MIGHT consider mapping the church and some of the smaller structures.

Love it!
the floor maps are so nice, as always!
Great map so far Dyson! I like the combination of isometric and top down maps.

And here I am messing around with a small-sized mockup of the composite image.

looking great. It would look fantastic on a nice parchment or grunge background if you can do that.
