Critic time ! (I've found a little bit of time)

I would have liked some more details on the mountains, not much, maybe one or two more lines but the simple shading is a nice touch. I'm a sucker for coastal details, torstanesque coastal details I mean. I really like the simple depiction of the forests, especially the pines, the tapered rivers and the two symbols (which seem to be made out of crackers but the way). The vivid color palette adds the final touch to a somehow pretty naive map which is really refreshing and must have been very fun to draw after your more sci-fi latest project. I really like it

Thank you so much everyone, glad you like the orange on green contrast too. I'm still somewhat unsure about the saturation though.

I waited for that Thomas! Indeed, i haven't found a good middle way (linework wise) between this sort of rather simple and "empty" way of depicting the landscape and a rather linework heavy detailed way, where i find it sometimes hard to keep it consistent throughout the different sorts of landscape. For this piece i deliberately tried to keep the linework simple, and somewhat consistently so, since it was mainly a recreational endeavour.
Btw. damnit, now i can't unsee the "TUC" anymore XD

Nice work on the light and shadow, especially on those symbols. A nice job all around.

This is a very pretty map and, as others have said, the colour palette is very attractive. I also find myself wishing for a tiny bit more detail on the mountains, and yet... it does work as it is at the moment because the other areas have the same minimal detail, and the overall result is very appealing.

I also think it's fantastic that you're using Thomas's parchment, and that he generously offered it to you. That gestures encapsulates everything I love about the Guild!

I, too, love the feel of this map. I like the sort of oliveness of it, it reminds me of late summer evenings drinking wine and snacking on pieces of salami, cheese and of course, olives There may be a cheeky slivavica or two involved too

Are those the regular TUCs or the ones with that cheese sandwiched between them?
