WIP: Rugtown

I've brought this into here as I still have to work on it. I originally started work on this for the November Lite Challenge - Map a Floating Island. My interpretation was a Lego town built on a rug that happened to be a flying carpet and flew off. I used some, possibly, obscure software for the Lego - LEOCAD with LDraw Parts, which I find difficult to use but I have a sort of workflow going now. I found a rug background online and the link back to it is on the challenge thread. The sky I sort of knocked up in GIMP:

There are a number of things to do on this:

• Find a better rug!
• Do a better sky
• Add more buildings to the town

I think Bogie has posted several rugs in his Mapping Elements thread. Not sure if any of those might be of use to you?

You might also ask Bogie where he got that sky he used in his own Challenge entry. He might be able to point you in the right direction for the sky part as well.

As for the buildings - I'm afraid you are the only expert with that
