    Map Aeonia (Commission)

Haven't posted anything new for a while, so here is a piece I completed a few days ago. It was expanding a bit on the style I did in my Hades map a few months ago, so it was great to try out a great many new things with it.

Hopefully this is part of a series, so I should have some regional maps on their way for it too. Any feedback, rep, or comments in general are all most welcome.

...Oh, yes, as you may see (or, I guess, not see ), it is rather dark in its style...

Yes, indeed very dark. I think you accomplished it well.

The mountains and forests are somehow simple yet very effective. I particularly like the mountains. The colors for the different regions are working well. Good job!

I love it GLS! The warm colours, though a bit dark, are amazing.

Definitely on the dark side, but it works. Despite the subdued colouring, it's easy to discern the different regions at a glance. I like the spiky border too. It fits well with the overall feel of the map. Looking forward to seeing some of the regional maps!

I really like the mountains you've put in this map. And the colors you have used really give it an interesting overall feel. From a distance it looks really dark, but as I zoom in the colors just reach out and grab me and pull me into the image. I like it.

Thanks guys, I'm pleased it's going down well!

I was pretty happy with how the style turned out and am looking forwards to developing it further in future pieces.

I really like the jaw like border and the simplicity of the features makes a very elegant map. Kudos !

Nice, I love the strong yet somewhat subdued color scheme!
