What are Referrals?

Perhaps a bit of a silly question, but I was just looking at my profile and it said I have 1 Referral? Out of curiosity, what does that mean?

I haven't got any, so now I'm going to feel really left out if it means your 'special' or something! LOL!

Have no clue what that is for. Also could i ask what is the purpose of sending friends requests here on forum. I mean is there any practical reason behind it?

I think the main thing about having friends is that you can easily follow your friends' WIPs and critiques by going down the list of their posts on your profile. That way you don't miss anything. You can also share stuff with your friends that the rest of the world can't see. Any album you turn private is only visible to the admins, the CLs and your friends.

I searched the forum for "Referral" but I can't find anything about it... it must be a very secret sort of procedure... CL's are sworn into their duty (office, leadership, I don't know ), under an unbreakable oath, so they don't reveal the deep, dark secrets of the guild...

When someone joins the Guild, they can say if they were referred by someone, or introduced, as it were to the Guild.

Hmm... Interesting... Wait! Now that I think about it, Matthew may have done that when he joined the guild.

How utterly boring, I was coming up with a story about the grand scheme of some scheming guild leaders, or something along those lines. What a way to come along and ruin it all J!
