This month I'm taking the idea from a suggestion by Mouse ( Original post here: https://www.cartographersguild.com/s...ad.php?t=34797 )
"Would anyone like to draw a map of the different levels in a battleship, the way you would map a house or a dungeon, as a battle map?
You could set a time period, eg tudor war ship, or future star ship. " So while Mouse's idea is to map a huge battleship, I will accept any type of battle vessel that has a crew. Viking longship, Spanish Galleon, nuclear submarine, up to the DeathStar ( if you are insane enough to try it )
Map it any way you want to, any style any genre.. Whatever you prefer.
Use your imagination. Use your skills. Have some fun. Win a silver compass, you know you want one.
The Challenge will run until the 14th of March (more or less) and then there will be 3 days of voting. Someone is going to win a Shiny Silver Compass.
As usual, title your threads: " Feb / Mar '17 Lite Challenge: << your title here >> "
Don't forget to put the hashtag: ### Latest WIP ### in front of all WIP pictures, and especially in front of your final map. And don't forget, there is a new WIP button that automatically posts this for you. Try it, You'll like it!
And remember, if you put more than one image on the same post, only one of them gets picked up.
Quick rules reminder: The Lite Challenge is open to anyone who has not already won 3 Silver compasses, 1 Gold Compass, or been selected as a featured Cartographer's Choice Map.
Also, the map has to be started after the first day of the challenge, no reusing older maps even if they were not finished.

Gosh i need to come back to these challanges, They are so much fun.
If I had the time I'd do an Imyyrian Battlebarge, the scourge of the seas of The Young Kingdoms.
Last minute warning everyone, we will finish up tonight if I don't lose power in the Blizzard that is headed my way. I will start the voting sometime before midnight Eastern US Daylight savings time. I think we are at GMT +4 but I'm not sure.

Time zones always confuse me!
Does that mean that where I actually live in the GMT zone my deadline will be sometime before 4 am?
