    Default My Island Adventure

I know that I'm not a great artist, but I draw maps for my D&D adventures that I am DMing every week. I am the only woman in an RPG group...and proud of it!

Anyways, the great artists here at CG give me great inspiration every time I draw a new map. All I have is a big sketch pad and a box of markers and colored pencils.

I figured that I would share these crude drawings with you all. My skills will never get much better... so here ya go!

    Dani

(Ps omg are they all upside down?)

    LOL!

    Nice opening

From what I can make out by mentally turning them the right way up in my head your drawing isn't half bad at all, but I'd love to see them the right way up before I really say very much.

Haha, well they opened up the right way around for me whatever the previews show!

You've done a really nice job with those markers and pencils. Nice and clear, colourful, and detailed exactly where they need to be! I think Pagong is definitely my favourite with the really cool shape, the thick and detailed coastlines and just the general overall look! Also, I really like the way you've done the smoke in Kamé.

Rep is coming your way, Dani!

Thanks for the nice words. I know that my maps pale in comparison to all the awesome work that you all make here.

And thank you for the rep!

You know that's really odd, since they are still upside down for me. Are you using some kind of weird browser to view this site, GLS?

Nope, just using Firefox. I'll have a check on my phone and see on there. Like I say though, the thumbnails are upside down.

You can use a screen rotate on most PC using the Alt Gr + Arrow Key to flip and rotate the screen, which I was originally going to do for this, but then they worked. Something fun to try anyway.

EDIT: Just tried Microsoft Edge and my phone's browser and they're upside down on both of those.

Hehehe... I only have a cheapie laptop that doesn't have a touch screen. All I can do is turn the Pc upside down, and that would yank half the wiring out! EDIT: They keys would probably fall out of it if I tried! LOL...

All the images are upside down to me

Nope, no touch screen here. Just a standard laptop. I meant you just press the "Alt Gr" key, and an arrow key at the same time and the screen rotates the according direction. You can also do Ctrl, Alt and an arrow key at the same time too. I think most computers do it, not sure about macs and what not mind. Give it a go if you can!

Also, apologies Dani for all the off-topic stuff on your thread...

    Hmmn... not working

Sorry Dani! If you have the time and enough broadband please could you re-upload just the Fekruna one for me the right way up?

I mean I could download it and turn it the right way up to have a look at it no problem, but I think it would be kind of rude of me to borrow your map like that without your permission - especially since we aren't right in the middle of discussing improvements or anything
