Nice map, Voolf . The compass and the signs are great, the frame plants are also nice.
The blank white areas in the forests are indeed a problem... I guess you could have just filled them with other coniferous tops? Or some sorte of hatching/drawn pattern.

You are right Ilanthar. Filling forests with cofiners tops works best, is such a pain though . I tried different hatching, but it just didn't match the map. I saw people fiiling that kind of ferests with a grey colour, maybe i also try that next time.
    Thanks for comment.

This is a lovely little map and I adore how you've done the textured landscape. In ref to others' comments, I personally don't have any issues with perspective or too straight lines. I do agree the empty parts of the forests look a little bare in comparison to the surroundings, but I don't find that a huge issue. It's lovely as it is, but I'd like to see it coloured too. Oh, and the signpost is fab!

    Will rep if I can.

Hmm, I seem to be the only one who doesn't have a problem with the white bits in the forests. I think adding treetops might make it look too 'busy'. Perhaps the light grey stipple that was suggested is the best option to deal with it.

I agree with others about the coastline and the straight lines on the buildings. I think the style overall looks kinda cartoony, and so the straight lines don't match the cartoon-like look of the terrain.

The main thing I'd suggest for next time is to use a different font for the map label. The hand-drawn look of the map doesn't suit that font, I think.

Also, the compass rose is really cool. Nice map.
