Default love the organization and dedication and had to join

Hi I'm the robot, my brother xer0 and I have been making our own tabletop game for 10+ years and we are always having to draw maps. Most of the maps I see on here are ridiculously good, what programs are you using. Also how am I to upload my maps, our world map is dremeled into a table and painted and would love to share it.

Well, to answer your first question, There are all sorts of programs out there which are represented here at the Guild. Some like Gimp, Inkscape and a few others are free, while others like CC3, Photoshop and others are not. Most of them can turn out wonderful maps in many differing styles, but it all depends on the time and effort you are willing to put into learning to make them that way.

The second question is answered by clicking on the "Go advanced" button below and right of the text box window. this will bring up a few more icons on the Tools bar.
Click on the one that looks something like a paperclip.
This will open File Upload Window that shows the images that you have already uploaded. You can select one to insert into your message.
To upload a new image click the "Add File" button at the top right and follow instructions.
Make sure that there is a thumbnail at the bottom left and that there is a check mark in the little box and click "done".

    That is about it...

And, Welcome to The Guild, The Mappiest Place on the Web

    Welcome to the Guild Roger

Can't wait to see a photo of this Dremeled map of yours. I've got a Dremel (a small craft drill for doing things like etchings, for anyone who doesn't know), but I would never have thought of using it for making a map
