Map Baldur's Gate City - Using community tutorials

    Good day gentlemen,

This is my finished version of my Baldur's Gate city map. I must thank the community because I've scourged through the posts and tutorials and learned lots of techniques and guidelines about map-making.

In particular I want to thank username Gidde for this amazing tutorial https://www.cartographersguild.com/s...ad.php?t=10655
And also RobA for this excellent tutorial on making aged paper https://www.cartographersguild.com/showthread.php?t=533

    You changed everything for me
Now my map is of baldur's gate city in the forgotten realms D&D setting. This map I drew to be sold on the DMs Guild, it will be available soon. BTW I already checked with DMs Guild support team and this is possible, so long as the artwork is a creation and not based on someone else's work. This situation arose a few weeks back, a shoutout to Mike Schley for being nice, understanding and help me understand some stuff about copyright.

So, I'll be glad to hear some feedback, opinion or any comment about my map.

I love this style of city mapping; it's clean, easy to understand, and looks good. I especially like the colors you used.

Great map, Derek. I agree with Diamond - particularly about the colours

Awesome work! Yep, clean, colors are great and the paper texture you used for the parchment is really cool. Well done!

Thanks guys !!!!! You're comments make me feel great ! this was also by the way, the first map were even the paper was done by myself, since I usually use already existing "old paper" images for this purpose.

Again, a shout out for the other guild members who put up these amazing resources !
