I guess everything's a placeholder for now. Those rivers will get cleaned up, and I'll figure out whether I'm going to make this map topographic or geopolitical. I'll also need to work out how to deal with the illustrations on the spine and the flappy bits, or whatever they're called....
Storyline's something along the lines of a country's eighteenth (failed) attempt to invade their neighbours, or something like that. Great thing is, what I write about that ends up on the cover anyway!
...and coming up next year, the Nineteenth Carellian Campaign, because these guys are really thick...

Chapter One: We decided to invade that country next to ours, Sent in the army, they kicked our butts.
Chapter Two: Invaded the country next to ours, They handed our heads to us.
Chapter three: Attack those arrogant B-st-rds, had to crawl home.
Chapter Four: Were going to attack them again, forgot to set the alarm clock.
Rinse and Repeat.....

Yeah, I'd guess you'd call it a fantasy history book, Mouse. An obese history book. They're not very good at this.

Omigosh, colour!
I think I know what I'm aiming for now. The bars are still only a placeholder for dividing the cover, but everything else is final, I think. Time for some borders, symbols and text...
EDIT: I forgot to make the third tier of elevation transparent... oh well!
