Yes, a few trees and some toppled headstones will definately go into the mix.

    Thank you!

Okay, most elements are in place, shading is experimental.

    I love the new cemetery

I think there may be a few shadow irregularities going on across the rest of the map, though, because I can't quite work out what's going on with those pointy bits you've got on the corners of some of the house shadows (not the towers, which I know are pointy). Some are aligned at a slightly different angle than others, and there is a fuzzy gap between the houses and the shadows they cast, as if the whole shadow layer has accidentally been moved down and right by a few pixels.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - especially since it probably took you ages to draw them, but I couldn't just let you carry on with the shadows not right - not when the rest of the drawing is already so good.

I think I see what you mean. I'll see if I can correct that.

Okay, corrected the edges that stuck out to me, and added sewers. I won't be super accurate with this; it's more of a proof-of-concept.

    Oh yes - that's a lot better

Are you going to do any roof shading, or just go straight to colour?

Not sure if I should do roof shading. I'm wary that the whole piece'll get too dark. Maybe if I get to the point where I can color the whole piece (ie. if I find the time for it)? Other than that, do you see any immediate concerns? If not, I'm inclined to call this done.

There's a shadow on what I think is a conical spire or a dome that resembles roof shading in the north easternmost block in the town. Maybe it would be better to take the shadow that's on the roof away, so that its the same as the rest of the roofs (ie without any roof shading)?

Other than that it looks fine for a proof of concept map

The shading is nice, it really makes everything pop of the screen.
