Hello All!

Ive been looking at these forums for years and years and just recently got back into making my own RPG world. In highschool I hand drew a giant world and played in it for a few years, but alas it is lost to me now, and the cartographer bug is back. I am learning from some of the amazing tutorials here for gimp, but might be posting a request for a commissioned map soon. You guys generally seem to be a super supportive and helpful group and I am glad to join your ranks!

Hi, and welcome. Thanks for taking time to introduce yourself. If you decide to commission someone, head for the Mapmaking Requests area of the forum and post details there. Or just keep plugging away at the tutorials. You might surprise yourself! Either way, stick around and join the discussions. If you need help with anything, just ask.

Oh, and one final thing... We've just started a new project to make a bookmark. Why not give that a try? It's not too taxing, and I'm sure you could easily make a small scale map from one of the tutorials. It's a good way to try something new & get some practice, and to get to know the community. You'd be very welcome.
