Greetings all,
I've lurked around here on and off for awhile, but really haven't had a project where I needed to make a map for in years. I now have a long term project that will need a variety of maps so will be becoming more active.
It is nice to meet you all.

I'm building a very detailed world with a friend of mine. We both RP and write as a hobby, though she is working at doing it for a living. We've found with a number of RPs we have done that we run into problems due to writing in a fog of sorts due to lack of detail. So we are building a world for both RP and writing purposes.
I'm starting with the world map and will work down from there. After all cultures develop based on the land they exist in. A very basic land map I have posted down in the regional/world setting.
I've spent more time learning about where to place things to make it somewhat realistic than actually working on the world map, but hope to have it near completion this weekend.
