Wip April 2017 Challenge: Adelsohage (with inset of region)

So I started this map quite by accident at the same time as the competition was announced. It is not very far along, with just block colors to represent areas I want to detail. I am working on the roads right now. It is a river delta region with several islands grouped together. It is in a fantasy setting, so maybe they've been able to reinforce their ground with magic to keep it from eroding away too much over the coarse of the ~900 year history of this town.

A small update. I haven't had as much time as I would like to work on it. I finished the roads and started to add some detail to the river and terrain.

Looking better, little progress is better than no progress at all!
