So this is a close up with the anti aliasing turned down and the sheets and effects turned on of the area with the pond scum. I thought you might want to see some of the cars and the helicopter and how I did the pond scum stuff. Believe it or not, those are all symbols of blood splatters that have had the color changed and they have been shrunk down. I thought they did a pretty good job of appearing like pond scum.

Would it make you even more amazed to learn that the tree stumps are actually two different symbols put together so that they look more or less like a tree stump?

The first and largest symbol is actually a symbol of a Stalagmite from Dungeon Designer 3 that had a hole to make it look hollow. So I found a symbol of a rock and put it over the hole. Now it resembles the cut marks of a saw where someone hacked the tree down and when they are both together it looks more like a tree stump from a top down view.

I couldn't really find a good top down view of any tree stumps so I had to come up with something. I think it worked pretty well

Nice work on this. It'll make a great gaming map with that amount of detail. It's great to see a modern urban map too. Makes a nice change.

Thanks Chickpea I really liked building this map because it gave me a chance to use Google Earth to explore that neighborhood and look at it from many angles. I was surprised to see what looked like really nice houses sitting right next to trailer park houses. It is a very strange neighborhood. I didn't even know this place existed until I got the commission.
