    Question Very rough caverns

    Hi Folks,

Decided to take a break from the Dungeon Tiles and try some quick & dirty caverns, it's very rough but also extremely easy. Loads of room for improvement, particularly taking more care (and time) creating the selections.

What do you think of the general style for caverns?

It looks good. Reminds me of sea cliff caves.

Thanks mate. Like I said, very rough - I didn't even keep the PS file. I think I'll do the walls how I did the Blank Fang & Dorag Skel dungeon maps...takes a little longer but looks heaps better.

Is there colored version of Dorag Skel? I've just found a b&w here and I'm trying to visualize how you'd do these rough caverns the same way unless you mean to make them black and white too.

That said, the b&w Dorag Skel is real nice. I remember how high falutin a dungeon map with that kind of shading would have looked back in the day, if a module would have come with anything so finished, at least until Ravenloft came out. Is Dorag Skel made on computer or with ink and paper?

Hi Pananacakes, Dorag Skel started off with a pen & ink drawing then I re-drew it in PS. There's a thread in the Dungeon/ubterranisn forum where I've started map b as well. I could colour it using the same parchment as the dungeon tiles...
