Map Thegorn & Ceratherra - Hand drawn maps for RPG campaigns

    Hello cartographers!

For my second and third map to be finished while being a member of this guild, I thought it best to just post them in one topic, save you all the clutter Both are hand drawn and hand inked maps for two separate RPG campaigns I was asked to draw. I digitally added nametags, the scale rulers and border, while trying to keep that hand drawn feel. The simple compass rose was also hand drawn. Would love to hear your feedback!

These are both really good, Grafian. I like the sharp linework, and think the simple black and white suit the maps really well.

I think the main thing I would suggest is perhaps look for some tutorials on drawing cliffs: the cliffs just above Rosenfelder look a little bit strange.

I love the diversity here, so many cultures, geographies, and climates -- absolutely perfect for an RPG campaign! Honestly, I'm in love! Do you have any context on where your mind was when making these?

Nearly perfect, only thing I can complain about is that in many places it is difficult to instantly determine what is sea and what is land. And this is really only an issue on Ceratherra. The delineation of coasts isn't strong enough for someone (admittedly not as experienced with maps as many on this forum) to immediately see the shape of the continents.

Lovely maps full of personality! I'd love to see coloured versions, if the notion takes you!

Thanks everyone I generally do extensive worldbuilding for my own maps, but these were commissioned, so not much I can tell you about the cultures and such, as they only had vague ideas in mind. I agree that the cliff plateaus look rather ****ty But I'm indeed working on that haha. Sorry for the late reply, everyone! Working on a big (6 a3 sheets) commission
