Timid Hedge Wizard & Aspiring DM

Hi y'all,

I'm still rather new to D&D, but I hope to run my own adventures in time. As a real-life sci-fi/fantasy translator, I find myself drawn to the descriptive world-building aspects of the game.

At present, I'm working on a stronghold for a guild of wizards, so if you can recommend resources for creating a castle in a temperate rainforest setting, I'd be very grateful if you sent them my way!
