Hey everyone,

I'm Aurea and I'm completely new to drawing fantasy maps. I decided to challenge myself (and save money) by making my own maps for fantasy worlds I'm writing. So after a few video tutorials and google searches later, here I am. Glad I found sooner rather than later. I can't wait to learn and share with you all.

I, too am new here, and was contemplating taking a class on using Photoshop at my local community college, any thoughts if this would be helpful?

If there's a world depiction in an opening page or on one of the covers, I am immediately more immersed in what I'm reading when it comes to fantasy fiction.

If you're a complete newbie to photoshop it could be very useful. I've been using it for close to 10 years now and I'm still discovering new things.
