I think I prefer this darker version, now that I've seen it, but it does exaggerate the sudden change in forest colour between the pale orange and the rich green at the top of the map. Maybe a little blending between the two different shades?

Thanks Sue ! I wanted to try something new with the ocean as I thought it could add to the map. About the forests, I could change them but that was the client's demand and a swift transition could do wonders but it wouldn't be that much high fantasy

I loved the paler version when you initially posted it, but now I'm sold on the dark one. The colour of the sea is so dramatic! It's fantastic.
