Thread: Sakkla Village

  1. #1

    Default Sakkla Village

I started this ages ago and it was another thing I wanted to finish before moving on. So long ago infact that I forgot much of the background of the place. So the labels are pretty basic. I'm not entirely happy with it but I didn't want to spend forever on it and I'm glad it is done.

Oh so anyway, my personal world doesn't have goblins or orks or bugbears or any real monstrous or fanciful races for the most part - it is pretty human centric. But it does have amphibious fish people - a bit like Kuo Toa if you need a reference point I guess but not really. Anyway this tribe has taken up residence on the site of an old coastal manor/village.

As I said on DA, I've been waiting for this one for a long time, thanks for finishing it.

Very cool map! It's simple, clean and still great to look at.

That looks great. It reminds me of one of those strange lonely places that show up in the Dying Sun stories.

Beautifully drawn. Simple yet evocative - inviting the imagination to take a stroll around Sakkla's circular buildings to get to know the local people

Great !! I love your efficient drawing, Larb. So glad to see a new map from you.
And you have a certain talent and creativity when it comes to do unusual roofs or buildings. This village has definitely this kind of flavour .
