Love the concept - its got that hugeness to it that opens up all kinds of thoughts. I think it would lend itslef to being in ISO / perspective but then I do like my 3D so I am a bit biased.

I'm struggling with this, to be honest. I'm having issues learning Sketchup (it's new software for me, and I'm old and don't learn quickly ), so I may just try a limited view as an inset, like an ISO pie-wedge, just enough to give you the idea of how the ramp winds around the levels, and the 'doorways' to each level.

At the same time, I feel like it doesn't have the right vibe. What I might do is restart the whole thing as more of a modern schematic/blueprint type look, then age it and mess it up and add hand-written notes about what each level is currently being used for, as well as adding sketches of the coats-of-arms of the various guilds that run the Freehold to fulfill the 'political' part of the challenge.

Well I won't suggest you try Blender, then

What you propose sounds just as interesting - if not more so.

    Looking forward to it

Well, I think I'm going to have to pull out of my own challenge. I'm just not able to move forward the way I wanted to at this moment, though I do want to get back to it at some point.

Oh, I've had plenty of time, I just can't wrangle the damn thing into the shape I want it to be!
