    Map Gwlasow Feyth

This is the map I've been messing round with for the last few days. I think it turned out fairly well but I still have plenty of room for improvement, especially in things like making mountains.

Nice relief work QED42 but I have a couple of comments: 1. The lack of context, labels, points of reference. 2. The border is too black and white if you know what I mean - perhaps you could soften by using some lighter and darker shades of grey. 3. Again the border, it's irregular - check out arsheesh's tutorial.

Nevertheless you've got some good things going on with the topography so I'll rep you for that

Thanks for the feedback and rep Straf!

You want me to hide all that nice terrain behind labels and icons? Just kidding. Right now I'm making maps just for the sake of making them to learn how to do so. That means I don't really have a world behind them and coming up with so many names and the like isn't necessarily my strong point!

The borders are something I need to work on for sure though, thanks for pointing that out.

You know, first thing that pops into my mind is...what about the rest of this world? It's so clearly a cut off map that i now want to see the rest of this world. How about it?

I like the overall feel of the map. The landshape is really cool.

Nice work on this. The terrain looks great. Have to agree with Straf about the border. The pure B&W is a little harsh, but that's a minor quibble.

Good to see you experimenting and trying new things.
