One thing that may make the centre a tiny bit less busy...
Maybe halve the number of radial lines in each of the rings around the centre, and have none at all in the actual centre?
I'll do a sketch of what I mean (since my explanation is a bit lacking) - back soon....

I think Mouse has a point there - it IS hard to see what's going on in some places, and I can't read/see that central name at all.
But as usual, a beautiful map all in all. I really like all the extra info/stuff you've put into this one.
This is very striking, though I have to agree that some parts are quite 'busy', as Mouse mentions. I'm not completely sold on the different colours for hills and mountains. I'm not quite sure what's being represented. Different territories, I suppose? I think all the different colours in conjunction with the many radial lines contribute to the slightly cluttered feeling in some places.
