the way you work on labels (a subtle bevel and contour?) is really pleasant, both for the aesthetic and readability. Other aspects of the map like colors and lines are also perfect, as usual!

At first, I really felt like this was a cold map, and I was wondering if that was an intended direction.

After I read your description, it looks like it is! Well done; seems like the inhabitants of this world will have to face the consequences of nature's unrelenting effect head on.

Nice map Diamond! As others have said, I especially like the heraldry and the mountains. Some of the text is a little dominant for me but I can tell you've put a lot of care into the map. Great work!

Lovely work on this. I particularly like the colouring on the southern areas. It's very subtle but beautifully done. And I love the battered metallic look of the title. It's fantastic!

We're all our own worst enemies in our quest for perfection, but I think this map is pretty damn excellent, so I hope you can find some proper satisfaction with it!

Excellent work as always Diamond. Your map skills have been impressive for well over a decade but they've only gotten better.
