Thanks Kacey, sometime i forget to be patient and don't think about the way to show correctly my work in progress : therefore the electrical blue ocean...

And I'm curious about that little script-fu of yours.. Is it something you can turn public and escorted by a little tutorial?
Thanks Pixie. I have indeed got the idea of making a little tutorial about plate tectonic movement using this script-fu applet. I hope i manage to save some time to work on it this month. I don't use Gplates but i think that the main idea is the same : using matrice transformation to calculate the new coordinates from previous ones.
    Cheers !

It's not the hard part of the task, assuming i used Gprojector to do the work . Knowing the transfer mode from equirectangular to Mollweide one could perhaps automate the drawing in The Gimp, to be see.

so all the tectonic work is done in equirectangular - reshaping and dragging the continents - and then moving it to g. projector to change the projection.

you can use flexify filter in photoshop instead of G projector, and its free too.

Thanks Vorro. I'll try this flexify filter, but for Gimp I have to install Pspi before. Another informatic stuff to be done...
