When, exhausted by long days of wandering, Captain Chili, the rest of his squad and some civilian survivors stopped to rest in a coastal house, the zombies of the area could not believe their eyes and praised their good fortune: Fresh meat! Stuck at the edge of the coast! And at low tide furthermore! It's time to eat!
Will humans be able to resist until the high tide brings them temporary respite?

I haven't played a board wargame in decades, so this map will be certainly unplayable, but I'll try to capture the spirit of these old school games.

If by scale you mean can I see the little numbers on the tiles, then yes

I take it that Zombies can't swim?

It all looks very interesting. Can't wait to see it fleshed out

Nope Zombies can't swim. But they can float as per the instructions.

Nice start. Like the old game feel. Little scenario makes it all that more interesting.

Wasn't entierly sure where you were going with it at first, but I like it. Haven't done any gaming in donkey's years myself, but this def has an old school feel.

Yeah, this could very well turn into a genuinely playable game. I like the direction you're taking with this, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Thanks all ! So I continue
Some grass. I want a clean grass, not too textured but not a plain color. This one is perhaps too bushy ? And slopes and sand partly textured...

    Merci Thomas

An attempt to depict the rising water level, I know it is not realistic at all but I have to deal with the constraints of the board and not to end up with hex half-filled with water or slopes hidden or not regonisable. I'm not determined on the texture of the water.
Any criticism, suggestion and comment is welcome, as usual !
