Actually, I think I may be able to do something about this, so nevermind. I'll post the next WIP when I finish the mountains.
Hello! I'm currently working on a map of Earth; it is 4000x3091 px. As you can imagine, I'm have trouble with things like mountains and forests. If I just draw small mountains, it will look like black smudges from a distance. Here is my problem: I cannot scale the map, because it is meant for 8.5"x11" paper, or 13"x19" paper, so I can sell prints on my Etsy store.
Here's what I got so far:

As you can see, mountains and forests are still needed, and they need to somehow be in the fantasy style. I've tried doing them regular size, but it looks utterly disproportional.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks!

Alright. I added the mountains, and moved the land farther north. This is probably not the final version of the mountains, as I'm sure I missed something.
Here's the map so far:

Tell me what you think, and what I may have missed. Thanks!
I've added many labels to the map. I placed in the top ten longest rivers. I still have to add more labeling and figure out a good way to lay down some forests.

What is the map supposed to show?
You are missing plenty of larger cities and capitals but included smaller cities and some monuments like Chichen Itza.
Also, some name like Alexandria are difficult to read. Maybe you could add an effect to the labels to make them more visible.
Yes, I haven't done the effect to make the labels visible yet. I added 5-8 of the largest cities in each continent, except for two cities in central Russia, which I added because they are the largest cities for a 100-mile radius. I also added cities based on tourism popularity. I added absolutely no small cities.
If you have any suggestion of cities, I'd love to hear them as long as they're above two million in population.

I've added many more cities and labels, but I think I'll still be adding some more soon. Also, I still need to add more landmarks, mountains, hills, and forests. The map's coming along quite nicely right now, but I still have a little more tweaking to do.

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Any suggestions or errors to point out will help a lot at this point of the mapping.
Any suggestions at this near-end point would be very helpful. I added more trees and hills and a few more major rivers. I also focused carefully on mountain placement. Unfortunately, I had to remove the landmarks, because I couldn't find enough that weren't inside a city which I already labeled (which makes sense). I might be finished, but I'll be looking through the map a few more times before that can be certain.
Alright, here's the map. What do you think?
