I love learning new things about computers. I just checked to see if my Prefetch was on, and if my SuperPrefetch was on, and they both are. I couldn't remember if I changed the Regedit for it or not. They are both set to automatically prefetch everything.

Well, thank you again for your knowledge, Waldronate. I will just find something to do while Wilbur takes it's time. I've been using Yarolds while I wait, so the time is not wasted.

    Have a nice day

    Default Problems with Wilbur

I can't get the incise flow to work on my map. When I first bring up the dialogue box, a preview of the rivers shows up. I change the settings according to Arsheesh's instructions, and then I hit OK and the dialogue box disappears, but so do the rivers. When I bring the dialogue box back up to try again, the rivers no longer appear as a preview, and running it again does not work.

I have the 64-bit version of Wilbur. Any help would be appreciated.

After entering the settings and before clicking OK, try clicking Preview. If the rivers disappear, then you have settings that aren't generating visible rivers. Another option would be to try cliking OK on the default settings and see if the rivers stay. If so, use Edit>>Undo and try again.

This, especially. Lower flow exponent values make larger river systems. A value somewhere in the range 0.25-1 should give good results for most purposes.

    "That'll be £37 please."
