    Post Burned out Orchard.

I made this map today using textures and tokens I found on Dundjinni site. Hope you guys like this one.

hopefully you can see the detail of the exposed beams, this map was done on a 1/2 inch grid scare.

You could just attach the PNG directly into your post.

    It looks nice though.

The drop shadows on those trees are a bit squiffy - seems they are lit from different directions

Also, might be good to give the trees a bit of shading to give them some body, at the moment they look a tad flat.

I like the exposed beams, but there might be too many of them.

Also, you might look into getting the script RobA wrote for me to randomly rotate and place an object to give your trees a little more variability, although you might have to futz with their shadowing first.

ya I could tweak with it, but it was just a quick throw together map. The reason the trees are somewhat in line is it is an orchard. so I figured there would be some direction to it.

As for the shadows those are the ones used for the tree tokens. I do have to agree though they could've used a little "blur" or something to lighten them. However, not bad for about 30 minutes worth of work, and that including putting the building together.

I don't have any issue with them being in a line, you just might want to rotate them so they don't all have the same orientation.

oh I see what you are saying
ya I could've done that, like I said I just needed a real quick set up. It wasn't meant to be anything over the top nice, like the arcane school.
I just was in a hurry I still got other things to work on for my game then just the maps, thanx to MapTools though I can program monsters in there sit back and relax, and spend more time on the maps.
