Hello to everyone here at the Cartographer's Guild!
I'm Trinc3ss, a long time writer and world creator who just discovered the wonderful place that is the Cartographer's Guild. I'm so happy to be here!
I've dabbled in map making a long time, going back to my childhood where my older brother and I's favorite game was literally to draw up maps and create little stories about them. Since then, I've become a writer of speculative fiction, and can't wait to start making maps for all the worlds I've made!
Personally, I'm best at hand drawn art, which is what I expect a lot of my maps will at least begin as. However, I'm really hoping to learn to use GIMP to create cleaner and more professional-looking maps, if I can find a computer to use (my laptop is a Chromebook, which means you really can't use any of that kind of stuff).
Well, just thought I'd introduce myself! If anyone of you out there have tips for a newbie, feel free to comment here or message me once I have access to PMs!

If you want some tips and tricks, check out the Tutorials forum, try them out once you have access to GIMP. If you have questions on anything at all, don't be afraid to ask.
