    Thanks again ChickPea
I wanted to have a sort of Jacques-Nicolas Bellin style (http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv....item.r=marine) for the coast with less hatches and I ended with a completely different thing, less old-looking now I'm afraid. Added some mountains. The more I look at the sea hatches the less I like them

I like the style. It's very illustrative. I think the sea hatches frame the island nicely, especially if you are not going to add a border.

    Thanks !
No, no border at all on the hatches ! Actually I found them too heavy, so I spent 3 hours to redo them, lol, was it worth it ? Some cities tests, not sure if I should do them in perspective...
As usual, fell free to comment and criticise !

With the hatches less heavy, and the page border, this is definitely an improvement. I like the town icons but I think they need to be grounded, either with a slight shadow or a heavier edge along the bottom. My 2¢ anyway.

The line work looks really good Tenia, and this border is nice too, I love the mountains. I don’t know if it’s just me because I watch allot of cartoons with my kids but it reminds me allot of Dr. Seuss.

I like those mountains. The detail along the coast is pretty good, only it looks a bit too uniform to seem natural (though that's not necessarily a bad thing if you are just going for a stylized look). Overall though it's looking great so far.

    Cheers,

Thanks. I changed my mind about the cities, did a little collection of town/building icons, how does it look like ? Will see later for the coast...

The icons look good, I like that they look integrated by adding the grass features to ground them. Very nice.
