Hi! I'm Andy, an illustrator currently living in Brazil. I've recently started my journey as a map maker, our GM is creating his own world and asked for my help to draw the maps used in the campaign.

I'm a traditional artist and don't use digital software that much. For now I'm just redrawing the sketches he gives me, but I'd like to learn more about fantasy cartography and build more accurate, well developed maps. I'll take some time to look trhough the threads and learn a bit more

Welcome to the Guild. It's loaded with useful information and fun maps to check out. It took me a lot of work to get used to the digital tools myself but you seem to be doing fine with that.

It's looking good so far! I'm a novice cartographer and still working on the rough draft of my map(s). Got any tips for novice beginners like myself?
