Looking good Mr. D, very good, and I have to agree with nopkin, things are nice and crisp, but there is a subtle softness as well. Almost can't wait to see what you do next with this, but I guess I'll just have to be a patient fur ball, yes?

I really like the relief, though I'm not a fan of the contour lines that aren't shaded - I know that's a product of the method and nothing to do with you, and it's certainly not a critique, just a personal preference.
I'll have to, at some stage, try Ascensions tut and see if can delete the lines it produces that I don't want...
The title block looks awesome.
You can definitely delete the lines you don't want. Or add more. It's actually a really flexible tut, and I've used versions of it for many of my maps over the years.
Well, I got a whole lot of naming done, that's for sure. The finish line is in sight!
