If each continent is separated from the others and all are at an equal distance from each other, there should not be any problem.
Hey All, me again,
Today I have a new problem, I need to represent 6 regions of the sphere that are generally equal distances. Basically what i need is something similar to a cube where it has 6 sides that will be equal distances from each other and a lay out that will look goo any ideas? Thanks for all the help.

there are Perl and python scripts for "Hugin" called " Pano Tools"
install the perl ones using the "cpan" tool and "pip" for the python ones

that is sort of what i want but that gives me an idea like using a shape similar to one in tetris thank you Azelor. what are the dimensions of that in reference to the world, do you know?
i have no idea what you are talking about and don't have the capacity to learn if it is something extensive but thanks

To some extent, the dimensions are up to you. Remember that the images on the flat surfaces are highly distorted in order to project the corresponding curved surfaces onto them.
One way of looking at it is to think of the central point of each of the cube's surfaces as being tangent to the corresponding point on the sphere. This results in a cube with sides which are as wide as the diameter of the sphere so that the cube completely encloses the sphere.
Another way of looking at it is to think of the individual corners of the cube's surfaces as touching the correspoiding points on the sphere. This results in the sphere completely enclosing the cube.
Edited to add:
Here's an image showing the first example, with the sphere inside the cube:
