    Map First map

Hi guys, I'm new here, I've always been fascinated by maps since I was a kid, here is a first attempt at a map in the style of Mike Schley.
    Comments are welcome.

And it's a bloody good one! Surely this is not your first map...please post some of your earlier work as well, if for no other reason than to make me feel a wee bit better for the obvious lack of talent in comparison.

Very Schley-esque, well done! I agree with Ilanthar, the lineart looks excellent. I like how clear the layout is, it doesn't look too cluttered. I guess my only nitpick would be the cliffs - the straight lines make me think of something artificial rather than natural formations.

A great little map, some rep headed your way!

Well thanks! But really, I do not have other work to show you
I did spend a good amount of time studying some of Mike Schley’s maps, and I use Procreate on iPad Pro with a pencil, it helps a lot with the lines. I did import the map in photoshop afterward to make the lines pop.

Thanks, I agree that the cliffs need work, I have to figure out a way to draw elevation better.

Really fantastic, Pyt, and especially if it's your first try ! Studying at the masters is always the best entrance door

Lovely work, and I can see the Schley influence, but you've made it your own.
